The Town of Bonavista operates on an annual budget cycle. The fiscal year begins on January 1 and ends on December 31. The Town’s operating budget covers spending on such programs and services as snow clearing, road maintenance, garbage and recycling collection, water and sewer services, fire protection, municipal enforcement and community programs and events.

The budget allows the Town to build and maintain its infrastructure such as water and sewer networks, road networks, and facilities including community buildings, an arena, town hall, parks, and open spaces.
